Welcome the the Friday Five! Each week we help you get to know our writers a bit better with the help of a top five list! This week;s category: Doctors.

Doctors are pretty much in every form of media. Not necessarily a medical doctors, but scientists and even space aliens. It’s interesting when you think about it. Some of the greatest stories told begin with some type of doctor. Be it Dr. Frankensten and his Monster, or a certain schizophrenic, Doctor Jekyll and his alter ego, Mr. Hyde. They’re everywhere! Doctors are more common than Kevin Bacon! Seriously, try playing seven degrees of doctors and you’re more then likely to stop by the 3rd degree, or sooner! Well, anyway. . . here are our favorite Doctors. ^_^

4. Dr. John “JD” Dorian (Scrubs)

1. Sheldon Cooper (Big Bang Theory)
2. The Doctor (EMH #1) (Star Trek Voyager)

Eric

1. Doctor Gregory House (House M.D.) – House was, and still is, one of my favorite shows of all times. Easily the coolest doctor.
2. The Doctor (Doctor Who) – I’m not picking one. The character as a whole is amazing.
3. Doctor Strange (Marvel Comics) – The sorcerer supreme! He used to be a surgeon, so it counts.
4. Doctor Henry “Indiana” Jones, Jr. (Indiana Jones) – The original tomb raider! ^_^
5. Doctor Otto Octavious (Marvel Comics/Spider-Man) – He bested Spider-Man in issue #700 of Amazing Spider-Man. He’s been the lead man since the beginning of Superior Spider-Man, and it’s been great so far!

 

Audra

1. Dr. Dana Scully (X-Files) – Her skepticism was annoying at first but built into something great later in the series.
2. Gregory House (House M.D.) – He’s the asshole that you grow to love.
3. The Eleventh Doctor (Doctor Who) – of course. 😛
4. Dr. River Song (Doctor Who) – first meeting her was annoying, since she already knew the future. But her story line is rather bad ass.
5. Dr. Sheldon Lee Cooper (Big Bang Theory) – everyone knows someone like this. Or maybe even 2.

 

Drootin

1. Dr. Gregory House (House M.D.) – House was a great show and that’s because the character House was such a sarcastic prick. He made the show great.
2. Dr. Mario (Dr. Mario)
3. Dr. Robotnik (Sonic The Hedgehog)
4. Dr. Light (Megaman)
5. Dr. McGillicuddy (Liquor)

   I don’t know that I agree with Eric not having to pick a favorite Doctor.. We’re at Time war. Time to pick a side.
