T.W.I.G. 10/20/13
There wasn’t a lot of news this week, but there was some big news that came down, so let’s take a look.
The News:
- Ubisoft has delayed the highly anticipated Watch_Dogs until Spring 2014. They were not happy with how things were looking for the game with only a few weeks left to finish so rather than ship an unpolished game they delayed to make sure they put out a final product they were happy with. This is aggravating for me as this was THE game I was going to get at the PS4 launch and now I’m very unsure of what to get.
- SquareEnix has announced that we will be getting a Kingdom Hearts 2.5 HD Remix in 2014. This is good news as SquareEnix has been struggling as of late but that means that the KH 1.5HD has sold well. Let’s hope that trend continues.
- Blizzard has announced that the Diablo III Expansion, Reaper of Souls, will be coming to the PS4 when the game releases sometime next year. This is pretty cool news as the console versions are apparently pretty good, I however will still be picking up the expansion on PC.
The new releases:
After a rather slow week for new games there is a plethora of worthwhile new releases this week.
- LEGO Marvel Super Heros (10/22) – WiiU, PS3, 360, PC, 3DS, Vita, DS
- Deus Ex: Human Revolution Directors Cut (10/22) – WiiU, 360, PS3, PC
- Teenage Mutant Ninja Tutrles (10/22) – 360, Wii, 3DS
- Naruto Shippuden: Ultimate Ninja Storm 3 Full Burst (10/22) – PS3, 360
- Batman: Arkham Origins (10/22) – PS3, 360, PC
- Path of Exhile (10/23) – PC
- Batman: Arkham Origins Blackgate (10/25) – 3DS, Vita
There may not be a TWIG next week, or at the very least I will not be writing it. I am getting married on Saturday so I will be a little busy to say the least. Have a good two weeks everyone, see you in November!
