We can finally say that Next Generation in gaming is in full swing with the release of the final 2 entries in console war in just about a months time. To commemorate this event we’ve decided to take a look back at all of our favorite games, in alphabetical order, across every generation. We’re calling this the Games You (Probably) Should Have Played.
Some of our choices will be mainstream titles, some will be indie games that you’ve probably never heard of. A handful of these selections will be older then you, while others are younger than your car. All that matters is that in some way we feel that these games are worth playing. So come along for the ride, as we move into games that start with “Q”. Don’t forget to tell us what your favorites are in the comments below!

Um. . .
Yeah, I can’t think of any game that starts with Q that I feel needs to be played by anyone else. I’ve played Quake, and I wasn’t impressed. Q*bert isn’t really anything special to me. . . Maybe we should get more Q games people!
Quake (PC – 1996)
Quake is the father of all multiplayer first-person shooters and that’s good enough for me to get it on this list.
Quake (PC – 1996)
I’m going to have to agree with Drootin on this one, when it comes to first person shooters, while it may not have been the first it was certainly one of the best. It came out in the early era of PC FPS domination. It’s a successor to Doom, and really helped to make the multiplayer shooters what they are today. So all you COD nuts out there, Quake is why you have that.
