IT’S SUNDAY! SUNDAY! SUNDAY! And that means that it’s time for all the gaming news I found interesting this week!

The News:

  • Ike will be returning to Super Smash Bros. for WiiU and 3DS. In related news Smash Bros for WiiU will use Near Field Communications (NFC) similar to Skylanders/Disney Infinity for something in the game that it appears they will unveil at E3.
  • The Kickstarter campaign for a new version of Amplitude reached its goal. The game is estimated to release next March. We will be sure to keep you updated as Amplitude was a favorite of most of us here at One-Quest.
  • The 2 Metro games, 2033 and Last Light, are getting remastered releases on the PS4, XB1, and PC this summer in a package called “Metro Redux”
  • Update to an item from last week, WWE 2K15 will NOT be releasing next year and will be releasing on October 28th of this year for PS3, PS4, 360, and XB1.
  • Sony has announced that they are bringing SingStar to the PS4 this year and you will be able to use your smartphone as the microphone with the free companion app that will release along side it. No word on if they will still sell microphones for the PS4 version or if the PS3 ones will be compatible or not.
  • EA will be unveiling six new games at E3 2014. No word on platforms or anything like that, but at least it means the EA presser could be very interesting.
  • Worms is coming to the PS4 and XB1 on June 3rd. The game is introducing clans to the series and that will allow co-op play for the first time.
  • Minecraft is coming to PS4, Vita, and XB1 this August. The full price will be $20, but if you own the PS3 or 360 versions the upgrade will only cost you $5

The new releases:

  • Watch Dogs (5/27) – 360, PC, PS3, PS4, XB1
  • Sly Cooper Collection (5/27) – Vita
  • Mario Kart 8 (5/30) – WiiU

The Story So Far. . .
  • One-Quest was founded many millennia ago in a galaxy know as "n00b," by a foundation of Nerds. n00b was a small galaxy ruled by an evil empire, known as the "Hipstars." One-Quest formed with the sole purpose of removing the Hipstar empire from power, and restoring balance to all Nerds...
