Every so often we like to bring to your attention an interesting Kickstarter we come across. Today is one of those times, with the recently started Project Phoenix. It’s an indie JRPG from some of gaming veterans. Now luckily the game is already funded, killing it’s 100,000 dollar goal in less than a day. But that doesn’t mean it’s not worth backing, they’ve got some cool stretch goals including a collaboration between the games Lead Composer Nobuo Uematsu, Sound Engineer John Kurlander, and popular Symphony Orchestra Eminence.
Project Pheonix is looking to bring back a little more of the traditional old school JRPG’s that people loved, and it’s being made by people who are just passionate about the project and want to see it through to completion. I highly advice checking out the Kickstarter and reading up on this, it sounds like a game definitely worth backing. And in the mean time, here’s the embedd of the video from the Kickstarter page so you can get an idea of what it all about.
May need to refresh page, video sometimes doesn’t load.
And of course, here are some of the concept art, courtesy of www.projectphoenix.info.
Now quit stalling and head over and read up on this project before it’s to late!
