The Unfinished Swan

The Unfinished Swan is an upcoming PSN exclusive, developed by Giant Sparrow and published by Sony. Details are fairly scarce right now, but the idea behind the game is to splash the world around you with color to help you explore. The game starts you in a white room, and you splash black paint around to find your path and move onward. As the game progresses the tones become darker, as does the story. The story? That’s a tough one. Giant Sparrow wants to keep it a secret for now, but essentially you play as a young boy that followed a swan into an unfinished painting. The painting world is ruled by a king that kind of gets crazier and darker as the game progresses… It sounds interesting. And the trailer looks pretty cool too!    So it’s basically Epic Mickey?

     I mean, not really… Epic Mickey used the paint to create objects to solve puzzles. In The Unfinished Swan, you’re painting the world so you can see it. :-p
