RIP Joe Kubert

It’s a sad time for Comic fans and creators alike. Yesterday, the legendary artist Joe Kubert passed away at the age of 85. I’m not going to start filling this space with a list of all the things he’d done in his life. Anyone familiar with comics knows his name. And many in the business not only looked up to him, but got a chance to learn from him at the school he founded, Joe Kubert School of Cartoon and Graphic Art or later just The Kubert School.

For fans of Kubert’s work, DC will hopefully publish the first issue of Joe Kubert Presents in October. Originally meant to be a series, this will unfortunately be a stand alone.
