Assassin's Creed III Outed!!!

These images were posted to the Assassin’s Creed facebook page just minutes ago! This is the confirmation we need to announce that Assassin’s Creed III will take place during, at least, the American Revolution! Whether the new protagonist, who is yet to be named, will travel outside the US and maybe take part in the French Revolution, as was previously hinted at during the final sequence from Assassin’s Creed Brotherhood, has yet to be announced.

But really, this is awesome! We’re going to get to fight alongside, or maybe even against, General George Washington, Benjamin Franklin, the British, French, and Germans! The potential for this timeline overwhelming! We can’t wait to get more details about this one in the promised near future!
